Numerica wins Army missile defense contract

Numerica has recently won a contract with the Army to develop a next-generation tracking capability for integrated air and missile defense. The work will be performed under a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract worth over $700K including options.

Modern tracking systems must be able to identify and track multiple objects even in an electronic warfare environment where hostile jamming occurs. To meet this challenge, Numerica is developing next-generation tracking technology that is able to mitigate the presence of jamming. The new enhanced solution will provide warfighters with principled, real-time information so that they can make better decisions on the battlefield.
