Dayton is located in the Miami River Valley region of southwestern Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. Known as the “Gem City,” Dayton has a legacy of innovation, and is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in Ohio with a population of 848,000.

Dayton is the home of the Wright Brothers and Charles Kettering, and to inventions ranging from the airplane to the cash register to micro-encapsulation. Dayton continues to host significant industrial, aerospace and engineering research activity, and boasts more than 25 colleges and universities actively instructing more than 70,000 students annually.

Wherever you are in the Dayton region, you’re never more than 15 minutes away from a park filled with forests, meadows, and miles of beautiful trails and streams linking you to nature. Dayton is also home to a variety of performing arts venues, the annual Cityfolk Cultural Festival, and the Oregon District: a residential and commercial historic district located in southeast downtown Dayton filled with art galleries, specialty shops, pubs, nightclubs and coffee houses.

“I can’t express just how great it is to be part of Numerica. The talent of the individuals coupled with their drive to succeed makes our collective ‘jobs’ so much easier. You hear stories about working with highly motivated groups of people with exceptional abilities, but it’s kind of like winning the lottery, you don’t expect it will happen to you. I won the Numerica lottery almost three years ago, and if you can’t tell, I’m still glowing in the joy of that big win.”
