Health insurance is available to all regular full-time employees. Numerica pays 100% of the employee’s premium and 80% of the premium for dependents.
Dental insurance is available to all regular full-time employees. The premiums for both the employee and dependants are shared with Numerica 50/50.
At Numerica, we want our employees to not only act like owners of the company, we want them to be owners of the company. Fostering entrepreneurism is critical to growing Numerica’s revenues and profits. We believe productive team members should be able to share in both short-term successes and long-term growth in the value of the company. So convert your brain power into bonuses. Numerica offers a performance-based compensation program allowing you to earn up to an additional 15% of your gross wages in cash and restricted company stock. This is awarded annually.
Eligible employees receive a contribution based on company profitability. Our yearly profit sharing contribution target is 3.5% of your gross wages. All team members employed on the last day of the calendar year, who have worked in excess of 800 hours in the same year, are eligible. This is paid into your tax-deferred retirement account and is subject to a five-year vesting schedule.
Numerica provides a 401(k) plan and matches 100% of the employee contribution up to the first 4% of the employee’s gross wages contributed (not to exceed IRS limitations). You become eligible to participate on the first day of the month following your two-month employment anniversary. The employer match is immediately 100% vested.
Disability insurance helps protect you in the event you can’t work due to unforeseen sickness or injury. Both are provided at no cost to you.
Provided in an amount equal to your base annual salary, but not to exceed $50,000. The policy is term insurance and Numerica pays 100% of the premium.
Both medical and dependent care FSAs are available, as well as an HSA option to help pay for medical and dental claims not covered by insurance.
All regular, full-time employees earn PTO for every recorded hour they work, rather than the traditional system of earning PTO with each passing pay period. It’s just one of the ways we say thanks for going above and beyond. PTO is calculated on a sliding scale based on length of service.
Company paid sick time is provided for all eligible employees on a “need it, take it” basis. This means if you’re sick, stay home. When you get well, come back. Yeah, there are a couple minor rules that apply, but we can go over those during orientation.
Numerica offers a company-wide “shut down” the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Getting “shut down” on the job never felt so good, and it’s sure to turbo charge your holiday spirit. We also offer Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, as paid holidays.
We recognize that our employees' skills and knowledge are critical to the success of Numerica, so we offer an education assistance program to encourage employees to maintain and improve their job-related skills through formal education.
Who knows talent better than our current team members? Not only do we supply a big thank you for referring top talent who join our team, we give the Numerican who refers a new hire $1,000.
Numericans are reimbursed up to $40 each month for health club membership dues. Our brains get such a good workout we don’t want the rest of our bodies to feel like they weren’t invited to the party.
Numerica offers each employee a free 25-minute on-site massage once a month by a licensed massage therapist. Many Numericans say this is their favorite benefit, and one they can’t live without.
Each December, Numericans and their significant others from all over the country get together in Colorado. During the afternoon, we have a company-wide meeting to review the prior year, pass out awards and talk about where we are heading. Then we celebrate. The evening celebration is a semi-formal dinner where we eat too much food and enjoy socializing together outside of work.
Each summer, Numericans and their families slather on sunscreen and gather at a local park to enjoy a day of barbeque, recipe competitions and other fun activities.
It would be a shame to live and work in Colorado and not take a day off in the winter to play in the Rocky Mountains. So whether you like to downhill ski, cross country ski, snowshoe, ice skate, or just hang out in the lodge, this event has something for everyone. Each winter, all Numericans are given an extra day off, transported to a popular ski resort, outfitted with tickets, rental equipment, lessons (if needed), and told to go have fun. The stories from that day seem to last until next year’s trip rolls around.
Each year, the company’s top performers are immortalized with a custom bobblehead doll made in their likeness. Once the superstar’s Mini-me is completed, it assumes its rightful place of honor in the Bobblehead Hall of Fame located in our Loveland office.
